Best Value Cycling Shorts?

Are there any cycling enthusiasts here?

I’m trying to find some affordable cycling shorts. I’ve seen a couple of pairs on Amazon, but don’t know if they are any good. They all are pretty expensive. Most are over $100.

Ideally, I’d like to spend under $40 or $50. Any suggestions for some cheaper, but still nice cycling shorts?

Wish I could be more helpful here. Unfortunately, I don’t know a ton about cycling or cycling gear.
