Mise en place is a s a French culinary phrase which means “putting in place” or “everything in its place.”
If you’ve ever watched any cooking shows or an experienced chef, you’ll notice the little glass or porcelain bowls of ingredients laid out. This is Mise en Place—it’s a way to get organized before cooking.
I’ve been taking some cooking classes and was curious if any of the Chefs here have recommendations for little bowls I can use for food prep when cooking? I’ve been looking at these Duralex bowl set, but am open to other ideas.
