This is the newest iteration of simplehuman’s fantastic stainless steel trash cans. Some improvements over the older design:

  • No liner bucket. This design is 25% more space efficient.
  • Hidden liner pocket dispenser within the can.
  • Fingerprint-proof coating.
  • 10 year warranty. Good for 20 steps a day for 20 years or more than 150,000 steps.

Any idea when the 45 liter can will go on sale? I’ve been eyeing these for a while, but think the 55 liter one is a little to big for my space.
