Looking for a basic thermometer recommendation. I recently returned the iProven Oral Thermometer. It was cheap and seemed well reviewed, but was giving me 96F readings. That could not be right.
The Wirecutter’s thermometer recommendation, Vick’s Comfortflex, has horrible reviews on Amazon as well as in their own comment section. Apparently the battery dies quickly and is expensive and painful to replace.
Looking at Fakespot, nearly all thermometers have one or two stars. Why do they all stink?
Planning to pick up the Kinsa Smart Thermometer. My girlfriend has it and it seems to work reasonably well. It has an app, but it’s not required to use the thermometer.
