Maybe some interesting ideas here for those of you that are into smart home stuff. I’ve been a little skeptical towards the stuff, but am thinking there may be an automation or two that would be helpful.
I’ve largely avoided smart home hue bulbs and such. My holiday lights are on a timer. I don’t want to turn them on an off via my phone.
I did recently purchase an Airthings View Plus to monitor radon and air quality. A side effect of that was realizing that the dehumidifier in my basement is underperforming. Now that the monitor is there, I am thinking of using a smartplug and a fan to try and help with airflow.
When humidity is above 55% turn on shop fan—something like that.
